The Xtool KC100 is an IMMO adapter for VW 4th and 5th generation vehicles. It allows the X100 Pad2 to perform functions normally available only on the X100 Pad2 Pro. Importantly, it’s also compatible with the Xtool PS90 and PS90 Pro diagnostic tools.
The Xtool KC100 adapter significantly expands the capabilities of the Xtool X100 Pad2 by adding support for key programming for various vehicle makes and models, including:
Volkswagen, Audi, and Skoda: 4th and 5th generation vehicles, as well as MQB platforms. This includes online key matching for these generations.
BMW: CAS1 and CAS3 systems, and associated key matching.
Land Rover: Smart key write and start functionality for models from 2015 onward.
Fiat, Fischer, and other models (e.g., Fiat 500, Palio): A broader range of Italian vehicle makes and models.
The KC100 is designed to work with the X100 Pad2, providing a more extensive suite of functions for key programming, including programming for 5th generation IMMO systems, as demonstrated in the example of an Audi A6L.
